Slow Food UW-Madison and The Crossing are facilitating an exciting collaborative mural project. Eight artists (professionals & students) are painting a collaborative, social-justice themed mural to cover the 1000 square feet of blank space in the basement dining room.
This unveiling reception is the community’s first chance to see the mural, talk to the artists, and experience the new and improved dining space. Doors open at 5:30pm and close at 8:00pm. You do not want to miss this historic opportunity. Slow Food UW will be providing a dinner buffet around 6pm (Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegetarian & Vegan Options).
Tickets are on a sliding scale and kids are free. All of the money raised will go toward paying the artist for their work.
